  • For many of us, Quiet Riot introduced us to the world of heavy metal.  But it was Ratt's "Round And Round," which made metal, at least the glam part, mainstream.  And that was in the spring of 1984, 25 years ago.

We're lucky we don't have a rat problem in our yard.  I guess keeping the weeds low does that.

Throughout winter, our Ginkgo trees were just sticks.  But within a matter of days, the buds have begun sprouting little leaves.  With the trees so skimpy, we need the leaves to provide shade.

In her ExerSaucer, Tessa is as cramped as the budding ginkgo leaves.  But she would like to point out that, as tasty as "Round And Round" is, the Out Of The Cellar album does include a couple more worthy songs.  "Lack Of Communication" is surprisingly catchy.  And "Back For More" does grow on you.  And before anyone knew who she was, yes, that is Tawny Kitaen on the album cover.  It would be another three years, before everyone got to know Kitaen, from her Whitesnake videos.
